A Message from the Elders of Woodland Heights
As Pastor Tim reminds us weekly, our mission at Woodland Heights Christian Church is clear: to reach, teach, and serve others for the cause of Christ. We, your elders, take this mission—Jesus' command to make disciples—very seriously. After fervent prayer and extensive discussion, we are excited to announce an upcoming change we believe will create more opportunities to further God’s Kingdom in Montgomery County!
We are transitioning to two identical worship services beginning on the first Sunday of 2026, January 4th. Our new service times will be 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. These two services will combine the best elements of our current worship experiences into one unified, Christ-centered expression.
This new schedule is designed to maximize your time and simplify our ministries. Now, both the 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM services will offer full programming, including:
- Nursery Care
- Children’s Programming
- Adult Sunday School Classes
This allows everyone the time that works best for them to attend services and classes, and it makes things easier for our dedicated volunteers in our children and youth departments, allowing them to serve during one service and attend the other.
We are experiencing incredible momentum at Woodland Heights—with ongoing baptisms, more discipleship opportunities through our adult and youth ministries, and second service often reaching maximum capacity! The new 9:00 AM option will allow more people to attend our first service and gives us ample room for continued growth in both hours. We feel God’s Spirit moving in powerful ways, and we believe this new unified schedule will allow that momentum to accelerate as we continue to reach, teach, and serve others for Christ!
